Iron[]
The first category of armor, iron is relatively heavy for the protection it provides. Iron is the first category of armor unlocked in Battle Pirates, and is described as "a light-weight metal", and it is added that it "protects against artillery blasts".
Level | Armor Points | Weight |
---|---|---|
I | 15 | 10 tons |
II | 30 | 20 tons |
III | 60 | 40 tons |
IV |

Steel[]
The second category of armor, steel is lighter than its predecessor iron, but heavier than its successor, titanium. Steel is described as "an iron and carbon alloy", and "both strong and lightweight".
Level | Armor Points | Weight |
---|---|---|
I | 50 | 20 tons |
II | 110 | 44 tons |
III | 242 | 97 tons |
IV | 532 | 213 tons |
Titanium[]
The third category of armor, titanium is lighter than its predecessor steel, but heavier than its successor, depleted uranium. It is added that "titanium's corrosion resistance makes it an ideal material for hull armor".
Level | Armor Points | Weight |
---|---|---|
I | 105 | 30 tons |
II | 231 | 66 tons |
III | 508 | 145 tons |
IV | 1,118 | 319 tons |
Depleted Uranium[]
The fourth and final category of armor, depleted uranium has the highest ratio of armor points to weight. Depleted uranium is described as "semi-radioactive and heavy", and is "the ultimate armor for your ship".
Level | Armor Points | Weight |
---|---|---|
I | 203 | 45 tons |
II | 446 | 99 tons |
