Talk about evil science, this high voltage tower fries any enemy that gets within range. Upgrade to improve number of shocks per charge, damage per shock, and range.
Building Information Edit
The Tesla can be used to take out high level and high health monsters, but only in small groups. It does not do well against larger groups of even the weakest monsters. The Tesla at its best when teamed up with the Laser Tower. This tower can only attack one enemy monster at a time, and it is slow. However, being fairly powerful and having a decent range makes up for its short comings. This tower is one of the three towers that can attack the three flying monsters, which are Teratorn, Zafreeti and the only flying champion Fomor . The other two towers that can attack flying monsters are the Sniper Tower and the Aerial Defense Tower.

Depending on the speed of your computer, Tesla Towers can be strong or very ineffective. Monsters almost always keep walking at their normal speed, no matter how slow the computer may be, but the Tesla Tower is affected by the computer speed. If the computer is fast, the Tesla Tower may shoot up to 10 shocks per second, while on a slow computer, the Tower may only shoot up to 1 shock per second. Because the monsters' movement speed is calculated, lag doesn't affect them. However, Tesla Towers can only fire 1 shot every second, so if the game runs below 10 fps, the Tesla Tower will fire slowly. This can be utilized on a slow computer by attacking a Tesla Tower with it not being able to attack the monsters fast enough.
When Backyard Monsters loads, the loading picture shows that the Tesla Tower fires 2 electric shock waves at the same time, althoughin the game, the Tesla Tower only fires 1 electric shock wave.
Its Inferno counterpart is unknown. It can possibly be the Magma Tower, as they both shoot fast.
A Level 3 Drull or higher can destroy a Tesla Tower with no support at all before it fires a single shot.
